Buttons, Blogging and Brits oh my!

I spent almost all of Sunday updating the buttons page. There were a TON of buttons to add, I constructed an RSS feed, and made an upload page so I wouldnt be bothered with 5 bazillion emails everyday :) It works out for both sides I think because now people can see the new buttons that havent been added to the main page as well.. kind of like a 'sneak peek' OOooOo

If I was a chick, and had an iPod, I would definately want this purse.

Googlefeeds will give you an RSS feed for the top 10 links returned on a specific search on google. Pretty cool and especially handy if you are a company trying to keep an eye on where you rank.

So you've heard of a fontbitch, but have you heard of a widthbitch? It can be argued that just as people prefer different font sizes they also may prefer different widths when reading; So Zenaku brilliantly made a width on-the-fly page. Cool!

Yeah it takes awhile to load, but check out this pic. Its all pixels, check the source!

Waffle: under the iron. What a GREAT idea/site. Not that its that original but I found the first 3 interviews with antipixel's Jeremy Hedley, waferbaby's Daniel Bogan, and 37signals' Jason Fried quite interesting. I wonder who will be next? Mark? Zeldman? Someday it'll be me :)

So yeah, I decided I would download Mozilla for the first time today and give it a whirl. I know it'll butcher my site but I already knew I made those concessions when I designed it. I'm more interested in how Maureens new site will render. I'll take care of my sites problems in version 3 ;)

Now about this whole Pirillo's Brian Trust deal. It's a mailing list he is starting to be able to share and interact with “some of the Web's brightest minds”. It is $97 a month. IT IS A MAILING LIST! Sure I bet there will be some great minds on it, like Scott Johnson, who i def respect, but I think that is just a weeee bit much. Maybe I'm just naive about the 'real world' and consulting... but its just a mailing list. Or maybe i wish I could get on it.

So where does the brit part come in? Listen to Nat's sexy british Voice, then go visit her at urban-cookie.net :)

UPDATE: I just installed Mozilla and my site doesnt look half bad. Basically the same problems I get in Netscape, the little laptop image that is supposed to sit on top of the laptop screen get shifted down like 50 pixels and while the link page slides in fine, it refuses to slide out, but keeps sliding more and more right. Are there any code monkeys that would like to suggest how I could fix this? (without giving me the take it off blah blah blah... i already know I'm really only fully IE friendly.. I promise I'll be nicer in version 3.. its all about experimenting anyways right?

I got the Gnome Email about the $97 newletter too - I guess it'll separate those who aren't serious from those who want to really utilize it. Did you catch the part where he said it was an introductory rate? Wonder how much the regular rate will be. $150 - $199 perhaps??

Eh, at least it's usable in Mozilla. As a matter of fact, I've never seen your site in IE. Only Mozilla and Phoenix (0.5). Also, what's the link for “Waffle: under the iron” and the interviews???
