Everybody loves MT, everybody raves about MT. Why doesnt anyone complain that when they rebuild templates their entries disappear? Or that its a big pain in the ass to rebuild after every damn change. Dont mind me, im just trying to confront the 'learning curve' for movable type....

I've never had MT eat any of my entries. Maybe that's because my blog is stored on my MySQL server. Maybe not. I don't know. I haven't heard anything about anybody losing entries until now. Yeah, the constant rebuilds do suck, but if you want to keep your site stored in a database, there's really nothing you can do about it. If you don't mind having the site in files on the docroot, you can link a template to a file--once that's done, you'll never have to rebuild that template again. Many people do this with their stylesheets to make tweaking the appearance of the site much less painful.
I installed b2 and I'm playing with that, no problems so far. I love how you don't have to re-build. :)
Hey. I'm sort of working on Linkpool. By this I mean, I'm working on it in my head. I've solved the authentication issue. All that's left is an easy way for people to include the feeds (we can't assume all the users will be hardcore geeks). The absolute lamest, but easiest, thing I can think of is having people include an iFrame that points to a file on my server that shows the feed as basic HTML. ie: <iframe source="http://shinyplasticbag.com/... /> Something simple that would accept the pool ID to display and would optionally include a style sheet if it was specified, so people could configure how the list looked. Other ideas: a Javascript feed reader (I don't know if this is available/possible), a PHP feed reader (I'm sure there's one out there). I would like you (if you have the time) to write up instructions for how people can include the Linkpool feeds in their sites. Thanks. Email me with a password for the admin area.
I used b2 but one day it decided to fall apart and lose my entries. Now I use MT. It's never lost any yet *touch wood* and I just dont change my templates too often.
Hello, thank you for putting the button I made to the geography category where it should belong to, but you don't put my link to the button :'( My button is the last one [ENGLAND] of geography, and my link to the button is http://www.meant-to-be.org/
I'd appreciate if you add it, thank you!
