If you are observant you will notice a few things here and there have changed today. I changed the menu (only on the main page for now, till I'm sure I like it). I put the cam page in the photos menu item. After reading various people's poetry, I decided that it is utterly uninteresting (unless you are the one using it to cope with your emotions) to read others poetry. I decided to bury the poetry page in the about author page, so alas it is not gone forever. I ditched the projects listing (in the sidebar) since most of that stuff can be found @ hipnite now. I also ditched "thedl" section highlighting various programs. I'd rather concentrate on updating other areas, and keeping the stock of progs i have on my server for friends only.
The audioblog menu on the right hadn't worked since I put up this layout. So I finally fixed it all up, and now it works with comments and everything. I'll try to call in a blog once a week to keep that section exciting. Of course there is an archive and rss for it as well if that tickles your fanny. Remember, the audioblogging is made possible by the generosity of Hugh and his brilliant Voicemonkey services. (that was sucking up, since hes working on implementing a few changes for me atm)
I also added my Upcoming.org event listing (right under linkpool). It's really cool and I recommend checking out the site if you haven't. You can add events and join areas. Then when something is added to your area you are notified about it (thru rss). It's a great way to find out about new events or let friends know what you are doing. I already found out about the LOTR Screening through it, and am quite excited. On the technical side of things, I used the RSS Feed plugin for Movable Type (make sure you read the documentation if you are having problems!). The process is further explained at hitormiss.org
The Gators won today, and so did the Cubs. w00t.
ps. oh yeah, i started to change the forum over to match the rest of my layout too..
