I've recently made a few changes to Project 365 that I would like to point out. First I would like to thank everybody for their comments on my amatuer photography. Hearing that people enjoy seeing what my photo of the day is makes me happy. On that note, the changes I've made are a bit more work on my side (not much though) but benefit the users the most. I have decided from now on to move from the 438 x 292 photo size (which was pretty small) to a 600 x 400 photo size. Although it may take up more bandwidth (and be slower for those on dialup, I think the trade off for bigger pics with more detail is well worth it.
I've also implemented a much easier method of browsing the archives. You can click the links to the months on the bottom bar to see a calendar of all the old photos. I have Sillybean's write up on 'Full-screen calendar view in Movable Type' and Mark Pilgrim's Template and CSS Sheet to thank. All I did was tweak, mostly. This replaced the dreadful javascript/dhtml menu I had before that never really functioned correctly in Mozilla and was a bit confusing when navigating old pics (as Blade pointed out). I now have to upload the regular photo and a thumbnail, but it's not too much extra work for the added benefit.
Let me know what you guys think, if you have any suggestions, and what you've thought about the project thus far :)

I like 365 alot better! The bigger pics are a big improvement, and the navigation is better. I still have a couple of things that I wonder about 365:
1. Why don't you add a pithy little comment with each pic, so we can know what it is...and to let us know why you thought it was worthy of being captured for eternity on 365?
2. How's that Enzyte working for ya? :))) Ready for wood shop yet?
