I've loved Pomegranates for years now, but only on my most recent trip to Publix did I discover the wonderful, delicious, fabulous, Pom Wonderful. It's pomegranit juice! As much as I love tearing apart each seed and sucking the juice out of them, this is so much easier. The juice comes in 5 flavors (plain, and pom + some other fruit). I've only tried the plain so far, but i'll eventually try the others as well. It's a bit steep at 3 dollars for 15.2 ounces but it is said that contains atleast two pomegranites which go for $1-1.50 anyway.
And then there's the bottle. Everybody knows by now, that I love well designed bottles. I saved it and am thinking of growing some plant in it in my apartment next year.
I also had fun with a coconut today. I kept hitting it against everything and anything but it wouldn't break. What I really needed was an ice skate. My friends were cracking up and I got frustrated and dropped it on the ground, and of course it breaks open spilling coconut milk all over my room. Atleast I get to savor the coconut meat. In Mexico they put lime and salt on the coconut meat, which is pretty tasty, you just have to get used to it.

I've heard of Pomegranates in Greek myth, but I've never tasted one..what does it taste like? Compare it to another fruit or something :)
