Haaaaaaaaaaaa. I just saw a commercial for McDonald's new 'Adult Happy Meals'. They include a salad, bottle of water and a pedometer. They are looking to improve their image and prove to America that they care about our health. Pfffft.
I hate McDonalds. I am the minority in America I know, but I havent eaten McDonalds for years and I'm just fine. I used to eat quarter pounder value meals atleast once a week back in middle school (and was coincidentally my chubby period) but during high school it stopped appealing to me. The last time I had it was about 3 years ago and my stomach (honest to god) couldn't handle the filth and I ended up throwing it all up. Just the smell of all that grease makes me quesy these days, which is unfortunate since one of my future roommates thrives on fastfood (esp McD's). Take the Taylor challenge and stop eating McDonalds altogether, your body will thank you for it.
I also read that McD's will soon be offering healthy children's versions including apple slices, juice and milk.

Right now I'm torn between whether or not I like fast food. Sometimes the thought of eating it disgusts me, other times my stomach growls in lust for the stuff. Just today my mom bought McD's because it's what my grandpa wanted, and though the food was gawd-awful (honestly: the fries were dry and bland, the bun was terribly dry and hard, the meat was cold and tasteless.. it was awful), I still didn't object. Besides, they are getting better and offering more appealing selections like their salads and the whatnots. It shouldn't be too long before they too offer Atkins'-friendly meals. McD's ain't so bad now, but I do see your point.
