Windy City Cometh

Tomorrow morning I go back on the road, driving to Chicago to see family and friends for about a week. I'm looking forward to it immensely. I'll be snapping pics left n right for 365 (I already packed my cam dock!). If you haven't been around my site for very long, I suggest checking out the action packed documentation from last years Chicago trek.

I came across this great site called The Two Things that says there are only two things you really need to know about any possible subject. I thought the following was fitting for my drive tomorrow:

The Two Things about Driving:
1. Don't hit anything.
2. Don't let anything hit you.

Also, as a sorta fyi, if you are really anxious to get gmail (i LOVE it, but gave all my invites to friends already), I'd say now is the time, they are going for about 10 bucks on ebay these days. It is better than everybody says it is.

Also also, if you find yourself bored, I'd really recommend checking out my online bookmarks. There's some really cool stuff in there if I do say so myself and I do say so.

Chicago and Powerbook I have yet to name, here I come!

This doesn't have anything to do with your post, but at the 365 page, the last style uses the background from the previous style selected (at least, in Mozilla Firefox). Funky!

Very interesting stuff to check out; I didn't know Gmail was that cheap, I think I might get one as well. BTW, you're right about Modest Mouse, pretty sweet band.

Mathibus: Yeah, same thing happens on IE sometimes, but if you refresh the page it fixes it. I have no idea what the problem is.

Hey, Tay, hurry up and come back. I'm bored.

Also, you should name your new Powerbook 'Charlie'. Then I could say things like 'Chuck the Powerbook' and it wouldn't _just_ be an insult towards Apple.

Seriously, though, I'm kind of jealous. And Charlie is a cool name.
