OSX to XP

None of my friends use OSX, and I'm too impatient to wait till tomorrow (where I'm sure the guys at my work will know), so I'm asking the question here. I want to connect a firewire cable from my powerbook to my XP desktop and use the PB as an external harddrive. I thought I remembered reading something about pressing some button when the PB is booting up to put it into external hard drive mode. Is this possible or am I cah-razy?

Hold down the T key while booting up to boot into Firewire target disk mode.

Okay that worked (the firewire logo is on the PB screen) but XP still doesnt recognize the device. Do I need special drivers?

Hey Taylor, I'm no Mac wiz; I've also had a similar question and found this site to be useful: http://biochemistry.ucsf.edu/~tech/Support/MacOS9/targetdiskmode.html.
Have you tried restarting your PC?

It's because XP can't read Mac disks... but Mac can read Windows disks... so if there's a way of doing it the other way around?
