How can I tell if I am a nerd?
Subtract the number of girlfriends/boyfriends/wives/husbands youve had from the number of computers you have owned. If the number is positive, you are a nerd.
I've owned 4 computers (3 laptops and a desktop) but have had only 3 major girlfriends. I am a +1 nerd.

Excluding classics like my Commodore 64, I've had four computers and two major relationships, making me +2. However, the second major relationship has been going on for 4 years, so I think I'm okay.
4 boxes, 2 notebooks: 1-5 girls I can call girlfriends, one major relationship...which I developed during my big linux phase...quite a good ration imho ;)

Commodore 64, Commodore 128, a Dell, a VAIO, and my laptop ... and a half-built mess (hence the 0.5) haha.
Well, if I'm being totally accurate:
1. C64
2. 386 (Samsung)
3. 486 (Limechan)
4. 486 (Jenesys)
5. 486 (Noname)
6. Celeron (Trinity)
7. Laptop (Pixel)
8. Laptop (Megapixel)
And maybe my Visor PDA counts as one. So I end up as a +5/6.
OMG! I've had twelve comps from 286, 386, 486, to P4 and PDA. With three gfs and one ex-fiancee, that makes me a nerd +8? Think it's time I pulled out the old Olivetti typewriter and get back to nature. :)
hrm. 7 computers.. three major Girlfriends.. I'm not liking this. +4 is my bane. I need 3 girls to volunteer themselves for atleast 6 months to be my girlfriends.

6 computers... I think I've only had two long-term relationships... CRAP!
