The killers are the two guys in suits in front of the iron maiden. They are killers because they are carrying their guns in the guitar cases, and covered in blood. (i think that's a resovour dogs reference)

Methinks the girl in the display is "Everything but the Girl" It seems the shop is soldout of "Everything but the Girl". I remember reading that the band got its name from similar circumstances (they saw a display in a Bric-a-brac shop where everything was on sale, but the (dummy) girl.

the plant is a peace lily, frequently given to the family at funerals. no clue if that is helpful or not.

P, how on earth did you discover the answer tester [suspicious raising of eyebrow ;]! The 311 and D12 answers do rather throw a spanner in the works. That makes 74 bands, and apparently that's our lot (although when I was forwarded the jpeg, message header read find the 75 bands... where did we get 74 from).

Anyway, if 74 is correct, with your verified list of 72 + D12 + 311 we have 74! So we either have the full list (and can't account for 311 and D12 in the picture), or the list is wrong! [shudder]

The whole scene could be The Streets.

And the sledgehammer is part of Smashing Pumpkins, I know, but it could also be Tool.

I'm still stumped on the last two, because there are quite a few guesses that sound good but then the script says its D12 and 311, which I still cant find anywhere either.

I think that D12 and 311 are correct in a sense that they're the ones the maker(s) had in mind, but there really are many better alternatives for 'the missing two'. I do hope that someone comes up with a feasible explanation for them. I have spent way too many hours on this thing already. For that reason, I'm also a bit afraid to check that video. :-D

I think that the guy's in white on the street are the Choir Boys as the street name is main not manic. I can also see The Police and is one of those cars a Tranzam? Also I think we are looking at The Angels not pixies. Does anybody else see a viking helmet at the feet of the cowboy junkies? A reference to Van Halen perhaps. seeing as there is the madonna and child and also a queen and prince I think that The Offspring is a reasonable call. A bit of a long shot but maybe The Darkness. Hi folks, I think that given the whole picture The Streets and Traffic are valid options. Moreover, is it Ratt or just a Modest Mouse?

Look there are so many that are clearly right that the tester thing says are wrong. "Jane's Addiction." I cant get the tester to varify this as correct but it absolutely must be. Then there's others Like "The Vapours" "Im turning Japonese, ... I really think so " Remember that well Those are Vapour trails out the B52s, so I say thats right. Pink is not a band but "Sky" were a band(Ok a poncy classical type band, but a band never the less) Thought there was a band called PlantLife, for the Aspidestra/RubberPlant. If The Prince were a Page , you could have havd "Page and Plant" Arrgg. Well truth be told theres probably about 85 if you dont take ambiguos meanings I.e Eagles/Birds. Include all the ambigous ones and Id say a full list would be about 150, theres already a dozen or so on here not in my 101 and hey I keep thinking of more, I just got another then but before got to end of line forgot it again. Thought the Manequin in the Window was Crash Test Dummys"

Okay Okay!! After further review, I do beleive I was in fact hallucinating whan I saw "D12" in the reflection of the window. Sorry about that. I could have sworn it was there, but I dont see it today.
I am willing to bet that the 12 pieces of Smashed Pumpkin, is actually the representaion for "D12". It does look like it is in the shape of a "D". I just dont see any other possiblillity for "D12" other than that.

think i found D12 ...

Turn the pic upside down and look at the two acrobats, there bodies + shadow clearly spell D on top of 12, which if you compare it to D12's actual logo their fonts match.

Here's a theory for D12:

The 'd' is half pumpkin to the right of the smashed pumpkin, and the leg of the fruit stand. The 12 is the twelve pieces of smashed pumpkin.

This clue's alot more obcure than the rest of the bands though.
