Park Cars Not People

The Scenario: You are driving around, for many minutes, looking for that one last parking spot. You find it and there is, conveniently, a person or persons standing there, in the parking spot. They are "saving" it for a friend who is also driving around looking for a spot, but is nowhere to be seen.

The Problem: You can't get into the spot. They are standing there in it. You also can't even tap them with your car because 99% likely you would be the one to get a ticket for hitting somebody (even if it is a love-tap)

This scenario has happened to me thrice in my life and thrice I have driven away in anger. People do not a filled spot make. Is there a better solution?

Hahahaha,
the funny thing is that i stood in a spot over by pitapit on wednesday, saving it for grunky. Three people tried to get the spot, but they all eventually drove away.

Mount one of those rubberband gatling guns on your car and start popping them in the face with them. They'll move. Not that I um, have ever done that... ;)

yeah, i've only stood in a spot like, once. and no one was around, i would have been way too shy to tell a car "sorry, i'm standing here..."
