It's that time again. The next UF Undie Run is upon us. In case you have been hiding under a rock, this is a recently started tradition by Beau Bergeron where thousands of students (and anyone, really) show up on campus, strip down to their skivvies and run for the hell of it. It's fun, it's exhilirating and it's something you can tell your kids about someday.
Beau's continuing with last run's mission to donate all the clothes you strip off to charities and Goodwill's across Alachua County. So be sure to wear something you want to donate, and give it to volunteers who will drive it to shelters around town. If you are shy, you might want to remember to pack an extra set of clothes for post-run re-clothing.
Apparently the cops gave Beau a real hassle last time, so he's keeping the details of where the run will take place mum till the last minute. Be sure to join the event on Facebook to get last minute details.
When: April, Friday The 13th (spoooky!), 11:30pm WEDNESDAY, 18 @ 11:55pm
(The original run on Friday was cancelled by UF Administration's demands)
Where: Meet at Plaza Of The Americas
What: Show up fully dressed and then strip down to your undies and run with 2000+ of your closest friends.
