How the hell did you make the first one like that? Please tell, I have a digital rebel xt and I cant figure out how to do that stuff w/o letting too much light in and ruining the picture.
On the top photo..
Shutter Speed: 15 sec.
Lens Aperture: F/22
Focal Length: 18mm
ISO: 200
I did all this in Manual Mode (the M on the dial). I think one of the keys of not having it overexpose is setting that ISO to 100 or 200 (settings usually reserved for the bright outdoors, causing it to not be very sensitive to the light). If Raaf is reading this I'm sure he could comment further. Hope this helps :)

Well, tonight I learned how to set the Lens Aperture. Pics came out pretty cool too.
