Behind The Scenes
The UF homepage was already in place when I joined the UF Web Adminstration team, and it is a great design, but I felt like the CSS was a bit bloated so I spent a week ripping it apart, putting it back together and checking for cross browser compatibility. In the end, I reduced the CSS by 40% and have made it work in every browser you can throw at it. Infact, I stand by my position that every single line of CSS is completely necessary.
