The Art Institute of Chicago

Considered one of the finest and most comprehensive in the world, the more than 250 galleries in the Art Institute's 233,000 square foot building is definitely breathtaking and a must-see when you come to Chicago. A good thing to remember is that admission prices are merely suggested and a single dollar can get you access to these priceless works of art. I've been here a few times when I lived up there but it never gets old. I accompanied Maureen and Sarah while Doug and Alex were too cheap to spend a dollar. They even have hacky sacks in the gift shop!
